Maria’s journey took a dramatic turn during college at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Puebla. Not content with merely studying Tourism and Hospitality, she decided to add a splash of drama to her life.

In 2023, she even added a diploma in “Radio Arts and Entertainment” from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, proving she’s not just a triple threat but a quadruple one.

Since 2021, she’s been tickling funny bones in Vancouver, District of Columbia, with her high-energy, interactive comedy presentations. As a finalist in the British Columbia Funniest Female competition in 2021 and 2022, Maria proved that her wit was no laughing matter.

Not content with conquering the English-speaking comedy scene, Maria, as one of the founders of Tacomedy CA, brought Spanish laughter to Vancouver producing with the team open mic shows in Spanish
